Dental Veneers – Serving Plano TX, Richardson TX and the Surrounding Areas
If you have teeth that are crooked, stained, worn or have darkened over time, there are very conservative treatment options that a Prosthodontist can provide today.
Porcelain veneers are thin slivers of porcelain that are cemented over the natural teeth to improve color, alignment and shape of the natural teeth. Front teeth that are crooked or worn, can be conservatively restored with porcelain veneers. A minimal amount of tooth structure, 0.5-1.0 mm, of tooth is removed and replaced with a custom fabricated porcelain facing to alter position, size and color of the teeth.
This restoration involves just the front portion of the tooth. The veneer preparations are much less invasive than full crown preparations.
The veneers are bonded to the underlying tooth material. The bond between the veneer and tooth is the best of all dental restorations.
