D.D.S., Specialist in Prosthodontics
Dr. Castellon, a native of Nicaragua, obtained his dental degree at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico in 1996. He then completed a three-year Post-Graduate Prosthodontic program at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in July 2000. He subsequently completed a one-year Fellowship program at LSU School of Dentistry in Advanced Implant and Aesthetic dentistry.
In 2001 Dr. Castellon joined the Department of Prosthodontics at LSU and in 2005 he became an Associate Professor with Tenure in the Department of Prosthodontics where he was Director of the Implant Clinic and Undergraduate Dental Implant Curriculum at LSU School of Dentistry. In 2010, he relocated to Dallas to join Dr Buskin at Dallas Prosthodontics.
Dr. Castellon is passionate about Prosthodontics, including Complete and Partial Dentures, Crown and Bridge, treatment of Cosmetic and Aesthetic problems via veneers, all-ceramic restorations and bleaching. Dr. Castellon uses multiple techniques to restore and rehabilitate dental implants. He has published and lectured all over the country on Dental Implants and Prosthodontics.
Dr. Castellon holds memberships in several professional organizations including the American College of Prosthodontics, The Academy of Osseointegration, The American Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society.
